for those of you that dont now, im gone for a while now before i am gone for a long while later.

in the week before i came up here, i had a number of things break / go wrong  (not all at once, but just about) . my computer died, and after ordering new parts i discovered that i need more parts than i had gotten.  my phone broke, and in such a way that my insurance didnt cover it.  the power supply for my laptop quit working. my sunglasses broke.  but, i think they are all set right now.  i received a donation from my mother, who shall remain nameless, to buy some (extremely overpriced) parts in town to finish my desktop build.  a new phone and a new brick for the laptop are in the mail (there is no cell service up here anyway, and so far both sessions of camp have had someone else with a dell i could get a charge from), and friday last i was able to get to town for a couple of hours to get some new sunglasses.

i was amazed at how easy it was to see.  i guess my old pair had become pretty scratched up, and were keeping me from seeing everything i wanted to look at.  i think in the same way, life scratches our spiritual eyes and keeps us from seeing how things really are.  he said that he would give us everything we need for life, if we sought his kingdom first.  i dont need all this technology to live, but it is nice to know that i am well cared for.  so, we would all do well to remember that if we would seek his kingdom first, he will add to us the rest.
